Megan Gale
Gale took part in a modeling contest in Perth at the age of 18. Gale was an actress for a few years until she was recognized in 1999, when Omnitel (now Vodafone Italy) hired her for advertisements. She continued to be employed for the company up to 2006. In 2003 in 2003, The Australian Tourist Commission hired Gale to represent Australia in Italy. Gale has been featured on the covers of Australian Marie Claire, Grazia, Gioia, Italian and Australian GQ, Italian Maxim, Australian InStyle and featured in editorials of Australian Cosmopolitan and Vogue Italia. Gale has been a model for Italian designers like Gianfranco Fere, Genny Gai Mattiolo, and Gianfranco Fere. Gai Mattiolo and also on the runways of Mariella Burani, Angelo Marani, and Milan Fashion Week. 9. Gale also favours many Australian designers, such as Colette Dinnigan, Kirrily Johnston, Lisa Ho, Willow and Alex Perry. She was also the expert on fashion for the Logies the Logies, which is an Australian television awards. In January of 2008, Gale announced her retirement from runway modeling after 15 years. She walked on the catwalk for the final time only a couple of weeks later at a David Jones winter collection launch in Sydney. In her final look she wore Wonderwoman's attire from the Justice League of America movie that never came out. Gale was the last to leave Alex Perry's Melbourne Fashion Festival 2011 show in March 2011.
